Based at Calf House Studios, Peter works mainly in pastels. He enjoys painting landscape subjects arising from close observation of the surrounding area. He enjoys exhibiting and offers occasional workshops.

John Balman is predominantly a still life artist working in oil on panel. His work takes inspiration from the more classical traditions of Dutch Realism.

Susan Beaulah paints out doors from observation. Her inspiration is Hull’s industrial past, the East Yorkshire countryside  and Indian fishing scenes.She works in both oil and water colour.

Angela Bell is a mixed media artist who experiments with a variety of materials and techniques.  This includes translating some of her paintings into smaller condensed freestyle machine embroideries.

Saskia Berkin is a fine art oil painter. After completing her portraiture diploma at the Heatherley School of Art in London, she now enjoys both figurative and still life painting.

Emily Bird Fine Art is a wildlife and pet portrait artist. She works on a range of archival mediums including pastelmat and drafting film. using coloured pencils for all her work

Alison Brayshaw is a ceramicist and jeweller. Her ceramics are hand-built, decorated with coloured slips and textured using a variety of techniques. Her earrings are made from enamel on copper, some are embedded with gold leaf whilst others are stencilled with contrasting colours.

As a sculptor I work mainly in stone realising a finished piece by the process of direct carving. My work explores the relationship between how we experience the world around us in different ways, physically, emotionally and psychologically, exploring the boundaries of what we see and what we feel and how this can affect us.

Deborah specialises in porcelain jewellery and homeware, offering vibrant to minimalist collections at her Beverley Market Place studio. FebbieDay Ceramics partners with food, fashion and wedding stylists for creative collaborations.

Esther Cawley is a visual artist and creative practitioner. She makes figurative work, painting with oil on canvas.  She teaches life drawing and courses locally.

Katy Cobb, aka Wall Things Bright & Beautiful, is a mural artist, painting interior/exterior murals and street art. Her themes are often wildlife, with a whimsical, fairytale approach.

Pat Davison’s inspiration is the natural world, landscapes, her garden and the plants and flowers within it .Watercolour is her usual medium .She also sculpts the human form from clay .

Robert Fowler, Sculptor, using stone, and metal. Artist in residence Oldroyd’s Corner, Woodmansey Garden Centre, Beverley.  Thirty sculptures displayed in a garden under glass. Themes: MFH,  Collective Conscience, Creation, Destruction.

Matthew Galvin is a furniture designer / artist and for this exhibition will be creating a site specific installation at the recent renovated Cherry Corner.

Emma Garness is a mixed media artist and muralist. Her work takes inspiration from nature and nurture, weaving together multiple layers of observation, imagination and story.

Ilona Hay works predominantly in pen and ink to create intricate drawings of landscapes familiar to her . Her drawings reflect upon her longing to preserve the natural world and the creatures which inhabit it.

Gail E. Hurst is a visual artist and mixed media sculptor. Her large scale floral oil paintings are painted from life infusing a fresh expressive tone to her work.

Jenny Wren Draws is an artist and illustrator best known for her adventurous mice drawings and wildlife themed work. She uses pen, watercolour and drypoint printmaking, often incorporating vintage papers.

‍

Lisa is a painter and printmaker whose work moves between abstract and figurative images. Colour and movement are recurring themes, and she explores these ideas especially through monoprint.

Penny is an artist / printmaker working at Tigger’s Stable, Calf House Studios. Her imagery feasts on timeless cultural artefacts that indicate common heritage and beliefs - ‘we are all related’

Artist Residencies in China, Cyprus, USA and the UK gave Frances Kelly the focus to explore and immerse herself in Printmaking, Sketching and Painting. Drawing and Lithography are her passions.

Sam Larter is an artist working from her studio at Calf House Studios in Bishop Burton. Sam works between sculpture, drawing and printmaking. The forms and images produced are abstract.

Debbie March creates kiln formed glass art pieces and jewellery.  Inspired by nature she works from her home studio in Beverley.

Alison Milner is a professional Artist/Designer working mostly in Ceramics and Printmaking. Her work will be shown in the context of a recently renovated Grade two listed House and Joiner’s shop.

Maggie Moore finds inspiration within themes of religion, mythology, poetry and literature. Her drawings, paintings and handmade prints are her visual interpretation of a poem, legend or passage that she has read.

Michael has always been fascinated by historic buildings. His career has been in museum design and architectural history, including working as an architectural historian for English Heritage.  Former clients include the National Trust, Historic Royal Palaces, the Houses of Parliament and Historic England.

‍

The focus of Helga Princz's photography is primarily on nature, the large and the small; experimenting  with different layers of texture onto the photographic image to create a different mood.

John Read is a potter/ painter, currently interested in portraiture.

Rhona Rowley is a painter .She works in Watercolour, Pastel, Oils and Acrylic ,painting Flowers, Landscape and Still Life.  She also experiments with Printmaking.

Steve Speller is a professional photographer whose work covers portraiture, still life and landscape photography. He will be showing black and white images of the changing face of village life in Etton.

Jill Stead is an oil painter. Her work includes landscapes, portraits and animals, focusing on using a subtle blend of soft colours with an almost pastel like appearance.

David Stoten is a professional caricaturist who has worked for Spitting Image, Horse & Hound and Country Life.  He has recently turned his hand to humorous illustrations inspired by local ‘eccentricities’.

Claire Stoten is a seamstress, making gifts for the home using fabric that is given a second use. Items include plant pot holders, cafetiere cosies, bunting, storage boxes, cushions, advent calenders.

Mino Themistocli stone and marble sculptor explores a number of themes including ‘concepts and their meaning’, previous works considered Chaos; Order and  Redemption.

Philip Treble is a letterpress printer and bookbinder, publishing fine press books and printing typographic art prints under the name Muttons & Nuts.

Nicholas Walster is a photographer, painter and writer who uses all three mediums in various combinations in his artwork.

Jacqueline Warrington is a jeweller and silversmith who employs traditional techniques such as hand raising, forging, chasing and repousse. She works and gold, silver and precious stones, often to commission.

Mary Wells is an artist and tutor from Beverley.  She works in a wide range of subjects and media and runs classes, workshops and gives demonstrations to art groups.
